Orange County Math Initiative


The Orange County Math Initiative is a community partnership to help teachers elevate student math achievement in Orange County, California. It is specifically designed to impact the invited schools throughout the county dominantly in the lower three deciles of California’s Academic Performance Index.

The Orange County Math Initiative is a partnership among the Orange County Department of Education, participating corporations, and the MIND Research Institute. Orange County corporations are funding the partnership to meet their ongoing needs for employees who possess math skills.

If your school is eligible and you are interested in being a part of the Orange County Math Initiative for 2009-2010, please RSVP to attend our Principal’s Institute on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009.

Please download the application to continue as part of the Orange County Math Initiative. Year two applications are due by April 1, 2009.
